Used the name “Sam” for the first time today. I bought something online from Marks & Spencer and I went to collect it today.
You enter your deets at a terminal and then wait for a member of staff to come out of an unmarked door nearby and call your name. It’s so gloriously low tech mixed with high tech. 
Anyway, guy comes out with my order and calls “Sam?” and I’m like “That’s me!”
Felt good.
